Meet the artist
Rooted in rural Pennsylvania.
“I bought a simple burner, found some scrap wood and got to work.”
My name is Tammy Adams, and I grew up in a small town in rural Pennsylvania. My parents were both creative—my dad did woodworking on the side, while my mom repaired and collected antiques. I’ve always loved rustic, natural things and watching my dad turn what looked like a few ordinary boards into something beautiful.
One day, I came across some beautiful pyrography work. I had used a wood burner as a kid, but the tools had come a long way since then, and I had to try it. So I bought a simple burner, found some scrap wood, watched a lot of tutorials and got to work.
Several failed attempts later, my creations were starting to look pretty good. I began sharing them, and people asked whether I could create dog memorials and other custom pieces. That is how Fire Moon Pyrography began.

A name burned beneath a carefully rendered face makes the piece unmistakably personal. Natural variations in the board mean no two portraits—even from the same photograph—could ever be identical.
A new mark, made the same way
Even the logo can be drawn by fire.
This concept keeps the original fire moon, gives the lettering more character, and is intentionally designed as something Tammy could burn by hand into a real wood plaque.
